What is in it?
The active ingredient is Benzalkonium Chloride - this is a broad spectrum antimicrobial agent. It also contains Aloe Vera for its conditioning properties.

ClearZalŽ BAC is applied to the skin around the side of the nail and the free edge it then kills 99.9% of the germs which may cause nail infections.

Can I use it on all my toe nails?
You can use ClearZalŽ BAC on your fingernails and toenails - there is no limitation as to the number of nails that it can be applied to.
I have eczema will I be safe to use it?
If you have eczema or sensitive skin, you are still able to use ClearZalŽ BAC - just be aware that you may be more likely to be in the low number of people who may have a local reaction to the product. If this is the case, cease use - if you have any concerns in advance of using the product, please contact your medical professional.
Does it wash off if I have a shower/wash afterwards?
If you follow the instructions and either massage ClearZalŽ BAC into the skin surrounding the nails or allow it two minutes to dry before showering or bathing, then the solution will not wash off.
What does debride mean?
Debride is another term for file - we recommend filing of the surface of the nail if it is thickened, or the tip of the nail if you feel it will help with the application - please note, this is not to be completed before each use, but only as and when required.
Can I use it with nail polish/nail extensions?
As ClearZalŽ BAC is applied to the skin surrounding the nails as opposed to the nail plate; you can still use it with nail polish and all types of nail extensions.
How long does the bottle last?
You only require a small amount per application, so one bottle lasts 3 nails approximately 3 months - therefore, it would last approximately 8 months if you were only using it for one nail.
I accidentally put ClearZalŽ BAC in my eye - what do I do?
First, flush out your eye with lukewarm water. If irritation occurs and persists, visit your medical professional - however, the active ingredient Benzalkonium Chloride is used in eye drops at similar concentrations, so there should be no serious reaction.
